Early works on the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation continue to progress well. Heavy demolition works have started. Sturt Street is closed for construction between City Road and Kavanagh Street until mid-December and traffic management is in place. The works are being undertaken by Lendlease.

New urban garden Laak Boorndap to transform Melbourne Arts Precinct

Today, the Victorian Government released new designs and announced that the 18,000sqm urban garden in the centre of the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation will be named Laak Boorndap (pronounced Lark – Born – Darp).
