Melbourne Fringe Festival is back celebrating all things theatre, cabaret, circus, music, dance and more.

This year marks the 41st iteration of the festival, which is known for championing big ideas and being an all-out celebration of experimentation for Melbourne’s dynamic arts scene.

The theme of the 2023 festival is playfulness and joy, with 470+ events presented in the program by Melbourne’s emerging and independent artistic talent.

The Melbourne Arts Precinct will welcome a host of events during the festival, from a VR flying experience at Fed Square to an after-dark storytelling tour along the Birrarung and an immersive cultural performance at Malthouse Theatre. There’ll be something for everyone to enjoy in the bold program of events from 3 – 22 October.
